Jacky Wu is a Taiwanese singer, TV personality, and actor who was born on September 26, 1962, in Tainan, Taiwan. He studied at the National Taiwan University of Arts and released his debut solo album in 1987. He made a name for himself as the host of the variety TV show “Guess,” which ran on Taiwanese television from 1996 to 2012. He has also won fame as the voice of the dragon Mushu in the Mandarin-language version of the Disney animated movie&nbsp;“Mulan” (1998). His movie credits include the likes of “Mr. Player” (2014) and “Loser Hero” (2017).

Lin Yin Xiong (Wan Guo Peng) has one dream – to become a crime-busting superhero. There’s just one problem: He is everything that a typical superhero isn’t.

Physically weak, cowardly, and awkward, he is bullied at school, belittled by his girlfriend, who wants to leave him for a classmate, and has to work part-time in the food delivery industry.

The sum total of his achievements is making the backup roster for the school badminton team.

But his life changes when he runs into a rough-sleeping middle-aged man who turns out to be a former acquaintance of his father. This strange man tells him that both he and his father used to be superheroes – and says that Lin Yin Xiong has what it takes to become a crime-fighting superhero in his own right.

Little by little, Lin Yin Xiong discovers that he does, after all, have superpowers, and teams up with two-like-minded “loser” types who also have the superhero mind and skill set.

But this motley crew of “loser heroes” is about to be put to the ultimate test – when fearsome criminals hatch a dastardly plot to devastate the entire city!

“Loser Hero” is a 2017 comedy-action movie that was directed by Hero White and Wu Zhe Nya.
