BTS, an acronym of Bangtan Sonyeondan or “Beyond the Scene”, is a seven-member South Korean boy band under Big Hit Entertainment. Debuting in 2013 with their single album, “2 Cool 4 Skool”, the group, consisting of members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, has gained a steady following, both domestically and internationally, capturing the heart of their fans with their authentic music, social conscious, and stellar performances. Breaking several records and winning numerous awards, with their chart-topping songs and sold-out shows, BTS has become a global icon. The “2018 Soribada Best K-Music Awards” is a global fandom awards program that picks the most beloved K-pop artist or group based on fan votes from around the world! The voting was held between July 20, 2018, and August 24, 2018, and the awards program was held on August 30, 2018, at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul.
