Ah Niu is an actor, movie director, and singer who was born on August 31, 1976, in Penang, Malaysia. He studied at Inti College, in Kuala Lumpur, where he majored in Film & Theater and Mass Communications. He made his singing debut in 1997, releasing the album “City Blue Sky.” In 1999, he made his acting debut in a Singaporean film entitled “Liang Po Po: The Movie.” He followed up with “Summer Holiday” in 2000, and has since gone on to appear in big-screen titles such as “The Wedding Diary” (2012) and “A Journey of Happiness” (2019).

Engaged to one of her oldest childhood friends, Yuriko Sakurada (Cecilia Cheung) ought to be looking forward to the day she says “I do”. But as the days standing between her and the alter slowly dwindle, Yuriko begins to have some serious second thoughts. Desperate to get away for a bit and clear her head, she books a flight and heads to Shanghai for some much needed alone time. But her time away takes an unexpected turn, the day a charismatic dance instructor waltzes into her life.

A completely color-blind dance instructor, Philip Wong (Aaron Kwok) loves nothing more than teaching his students all of the latest dance moves, including his current favorite, the Para Para. Dedicating his life to dance, Philip doesn’t really even notice that he sees the world in black and white, but all that changes the day Yuriko walks into his studio. With the world suddenly bursting into color around her, Philip can’t help but fall for the free-spirited woman who has begun to see his studio as a sort of sanctuary from the pressures of her own life.

As Philip and Yuriko spend more time together, they find themselves falling even more in love but the responsibilities Yuriko has been trying to avoid eventually catch up with her. Forced to return to Japan, Yuriko leaves Philip heartbroken. With his world fading back to gray, Philip must decide whether to let Yurkio go for good or fight for the one who filled his world with color and inspired his heart to dance.

Summer Koo (Sammi Cheng) is down on her luck. She has just been laid off from work and finds herself badly in need of money.

She thinks she has a lifeline, however, as a while ago, she and her cousin got some money together and co-bought a vacation resort in a Malaysian tourist destination.

Summer travels to Malaysia to sell off the property. But when she arrives, she is shocked to discover that her cousin has already sold off his half of the resort (without telling her) to a man named Mo Mo Cha (Richie Ren).

They find themselves at cross purposes as Summer Koo wants to sell up, but Mo Mo Cha says wants to retain ownership – and does not want to buy her out.

The duo bickers, but the longer they spend in each other’s company, the more they realize that they have a mutual attraction.

Could love be the tonic to end Summer Koo and Mo Mo Cha’s woes in this idyllic, sun-soaked summer hotspot?
