Dear My Friends: This was such a pleasant surprise. I thought it would be cute and quaint but it was a powerhouse of excellent writing that hits those moments in life that everyone shares, but that doesn't mean you ache any less for it. Excellent show.

“Kimi Wa Petto” is a 2017 Japanese drama series directed by Izuru Kumasaka. It is based on the manga “Kimi Wa Petto” written by Yayoi Ogawa. Two previous adaptations of the manga originally aired in 2003 and 2011.
