The year is 1910. Kwang Soo (Ryu Deok Hwan) is a talented medical student who scours the woods at night to find animal corpses so that he can practice his surgical dissection skills. One night, Kwang Soo finds a dead body and takes it home, only find out the next day that the body is the son of the most powerful local politician. Kwang Soo is afraid if he goes to the police, he will become the primary suspect since he has already removed some of the body’s organs. When Kwang Soo sees a flyer advertisement for private detective Hong Jin Ho (Hwang Jung Min), he goes to Jin Ho to ask for his help in finding the real killer. Jin Ho, who has only worked on trivial family matters to make extra money to go to America someday and is afraid of any real danger, refuses to get involved. But Kwang Soo finally convinces him with the large reward being offered in the case.
