A baby born in prison must be given up for adoption at 18 months. Hong Jung Hye (Kim Yun Jin) gave birth to her baby inside prison after being sentenced to 10 years for killing her abusive husband. The prison chief promises Jung Hye a special one-day outing outside the prison walls with her baby before she has to give the baby up for adoption. But there’s a catch. Jung Hye has to start up a choir to earn the privilege. With the help of fellow inmate, Kim Moon Ok (Na Moon Hee), who was a musical professor at a university before being put on death row for killing her adulterous husband and mistress, Jung Hye is determined to succeed in starting up a prison choir. “Harmony” is a 2010 South Korean film directed by Kang Dae Kyu.
