It was a dream-come-true that quickly turned into an unexpected nightmare. Pil Gi (Cha Seung Won) has always dreamed of being the first person in his family to ever own a home. After 10 years of working in a shipyard by day and as a substitute driver by night, Pil Gi saves up enough money to buy a two-story house near the beach in Geoje-do. But soon after he moves in, Pil Gi discovers why he got such a great deal on the beautiful house. His dream home is haunted by an angry ghost that throws knives or other furniture at him in an effort to scare him out of the house. Pil Gi is determined to fight back and keep the house that he has worked so hard to own, but lightning strikes him one night while the ghost is chasing him. When he returns home from the hospital, Pil Gi realizes that he can suddenly see and communicate with the ghost, who identifies herself as Yeon Hwa (Jang Seo Hee). What will become of their rivalry now? “Ghost House” is a 2004 South Korean film directed by Kim Sang Jin.
