Some forced punishments can change the course of your life. Kim Sang Nam (Jung Jae Young) is a fading professional baseball player who has been appearing more in the media these days because of his hot temper and bad behavior than for his ball career. When Sang Nam gets involved in yet another drunken brawl that could devastate his career, his agent, Charles (Jo Jin Woong), convinces him to take a job coaching a team of hearing-impaired baseball players at a rural high school to reform his bad-boy image. When he arrives, Sang Nam finds a mess of a team that has never won a game. Sang Nam begins to wonder how long he needs to cool his heels at this god-forsaken place before he can return to his former life. Sang Nam’s obvious lack of compassion for the kids angers Na Joo Won (Yoo Sun), the team manager and the school music teacher. Can Sang Nam turn this the lackluster team around to make it worthy of competing in the nationals? “Glove” is a 2011 South Korean film directed by Kang Woo Suk. It is based on a true story of the Chungju Sung Shim baseball team from Chungju City.
