What can a biotech researcher, a man trying to escape loan sharks and a pink-haired young woman have in common? Baek Hyun Chul (Lee Beom Soo) is a biotech scientist who is working on a cure for skin cancer. But Kim Taek Soo, the head of the pharmaceutical company, sends Steve Jung (Jung Man Sik) and his gang to shut down the lab and take the research. When Hyun Chul’s colleague, Han Jin Soo (Jung In Gi) protests the decision, he ends up in a hit-and-run accident that leaves him in a vegetative state. Steve Jung gets greedy and kills Taek Soo, not knowing that the research is stored on a microchip that has been implanted into Taek Soo’s body. Hyun Chul and Jin Soo’s pink-haired daughter, Dong Hwa (Kim Ok Bin), plot to steal Taek Soo’s body to help pay for Jin Soo’s hospital bills. But the body they take out of the morgue ends up being that of Ahn Jin Oh (Ryoo Seung Bum), a man who faked his own death in order to escape loan sharks. Can the unlikely trio escape the wrath of Steve Jung and his gang? “Over My Dead Body” is a 2012 South Korean film directed by Woo Seon Ho.
