The Boys Who Cried Wolf

About

Are some acting jobs not worth the money? Wan Joo (Park Jong Hwan) is a stage actor who has to take odd jobs to make a living. Working for a role-playing agency, Wan Joo will pretend to be a boyfriend to a single woman, attend important events as a stand-in, or help unpopular men find dates. When a murder is committed near his home, a desperate mother offers to pay Wan Joo a lot of money to act as an eye witness so that the perpetrator can be brought to justice. Although uneasy about making false testimony, Wan Joo accepts the offer and goes to the police station to make his testimony in the case. Afterwards, Wan Joo makes the shocking discovery that the murder victim was an orphan and that he may have sent an innocent person to jail for murder. Can Kwang Suk (Song Ha Joon) and Young Min (Yoon Jung Il), who were with the victim at the murder scene, help Wan Joo find out who hired him and what really happened? “The Boys Who Cried Wolf” is a 2016 South Korean film written and directed by Kim Jin Hwang.
