About Lee Jung Jae: 
Lee Jung Jae is a South Korean actor who was born in Seoul, South Korea, on December 15, 1972. He first made his mark working as a fashion model and transitioned to television acting in the mid-1990s, which he has made his name ever since. His first of many acting gigs include university-themed drama “Feelings” (1994) and “Sandglass” (1995). He has since appeared in numerous hit movie titles, such as “The Thieves” (2012), “Warriors of the Dawn” (2017), and most recently “Deliver Us From Evil” (2020).

Prominent Roles: 
Lee Jung Jae got his first breakthrough in late 1998 in the award-winning film, “An Affair”, followed by another prominent role in “City of The Rising Sun'', for which he was awarded the Best Actor Award at the Korea Chung Ryong Awards. While he has been famous for playing the antagonist in most films, the actor is not one to shy away from playing the protagonist as well. Lee Jung Jae’s most renowned role by far would be his portrayal of Player 456 or Seong Gi Hun, a character in the hit Korean drama “Squid Game”, which propelled him to international fame. Lee Jung Jae played Player 456 in “Squid Game” and instantly rose to fame internationally, with his Instagram account (@from_jjlee) garnering 4.9 million followers in a short period of time. In fact, his first-ever Instagram post, a selfie, had more than 2 million likes.

Jun Ji Hyun is a popular South Korean actress who is most well known for her roles in the comedy film “My Sassy Girl” (2001) and the television drama “My Love From the Star” (2013). Born on October 30, 1981, as Wang Ji Hyun, she took the stage name of Jun Ji Hyun in 1997 when she began her career as a model. She became a popular sensation in 1999 when she was featured in a commercial for Samsung. She then branched out into acting with the 2000 film “Il Mare” and “My Sassy Girl,” for which she won Best Actress at the 2002 Grand Bell Awards. 

In 2006, Jun Hi Hyun made her Hollywood debut in the lead role for “Blood: The Last Vampire,” an international production filmed in both China and Argentina. She adopted the Western name Giana Jun for the film. She also starred opposite Chinese actress Li Bingbing in 2010 in the English-language film “Snow Flower and the Secret Fan,” based on the bestselling novel by Lisa See. When she starred with Kim Soo Hyun in the 2013 fantasy television drama “My Love From the Star,” Jun Ji Hyun made her long-anticipated comeback to the small screen after 14 years. The series was a global hit, sparking the lipstick color that Jun Ji Hyun wore in the series to sell out internationally. She also won the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the 2014 Baeksang Arts Awards and the 2014 SBS Drama Awards. 

On April 13, 2012, Jun Ji Hyun married businessman Choi Joon Hyuk, who is the son of fashion designer Lee Jung Woo and grandson of the famous hanbok designer Lee Young Hee. After giving birth to a son in early 2016, Jun Ji Hyun made her acting comeback in the drama “The Legend of the Blue Sea” (2016-2017) with costar Lee Min Ho.

Jo Seung Yeon is a South Korean actor who was born on April 14, 1972. He first made a name for himself with the movie “Shiri” in 1998, going on to appear in “A Love Story” in 2000. He is also a renowned drama series actor and has appeared in hit titles such as “Suits” (2018) and “VIP” in 2019.

Kim Mu Saeng was a South Korean actor who was born on March 16, 1943, in Seosan, South Korea. He studied at Dongguk University in Seoul, and rose to fame in the 1970s, when he began starring in a number of hit movies, such as “Daewi” (1976). He went on to appear in scores of hit film titles, including “A Love Story” (2000) and “Dance with Solitude” (2004). He died on April 16, 2005.

Kim Mu Saeng

A young woman named Eun Jo (Jun Ji Hyun) has been living in a stunning lakeside house named Il Mare. She dreams of becoming a voice actor but is haunted by loneliness after her fiancé left for the United States and never returned.

When she decides to move out of the house and return to the big city, she sends a note to the next tenant of the house, asking him to forward any mail to her.

However, when she receives a reply from the new tenant, named Sung Hyun (Lee Jung Jae), she is shocked to discover that it is dated 1997 – two years in the past.

The duo begins a time-hopping correspondence, which soon blossoms into an otherworldly epistolary romance. But when they attempt to arrange a way to meet in person, things do not go quite as expected.

“A Love Story” is a 2000 South Korean movie that was directed by Lee Hyun Seung.
