If the Sun Rises in the West

Beom Su (Im Chang Jung) dreams of becoming a baseball umpire, but works as a traffic control officer for the time being. When he meets theater major and aspiring actress Hyeon Ju (Ko So Young), after she crashed her car while driving without a license, he makes a surprising decision: instead of issuing her a fine, he offers to teach her how to drive. Soon enough, they become friends, exchanging letters and sharing their dreams with each other. Having fallen in love, Beom Su proposes to Hyeon Ju, but she rejects him as she plans to leave Korea and study abroad. They eventually drift apart, following their own paths. Years later, they've both achieved their dreams – Beom Ju has become a baseball umpire, while Hyeon Ju is an up-and-coming actress, and the two reunite via baseball. Will a decision at the first pitch of the opening game of the Korean Series make it all worth it?
