The ambitious Ma Tian Ze (Ou Hao) and Xia Mo (Zeng Meng Xue) met at a restaurant and fell in love. They both had high hopes for their careers – and their future together. And they were so confident in their love that they co-created a list of complicated tasks they would have to complete before they could break up, believing that this would deter them from ever trying to separate. But three years later, their career dreams have stalled and their marriage plans appear to have come to nothing. As their frustration turns to indifference toward one another, they agree to break up.
