Some people are dealt all the right cards in life, but do some people squander their natural talents? Ma Hye Ri (Kim So Yeon) is the adored daughter of a wealthy CEO, has a genius IQ, and the face and body of a model. Although she cares more about skincare and fashion, she easily gets into law school with her incredible intellect and focus and passes the bar exam with flying colors. With her parents’ urging, she becomes a revered prosecutor, but she has no interest in her job or fighting for justice for her clients. She does, however, start to develop an interest in Yoon Se Joon (Han Jung Soo), the passionate chief prosecutor in her office who lost his wife to cancer three years ago. But Jin Jeong Seon (Choi Song Hyun), Hye Ri’s senior prosecutor, has been pining for Se Joon from afar and isn’t about to let Hye Ri come in between her and her secret love. Jeong Seon has even convinced her mother to babysit Se Joon’s 7-year-old daughter to stay close to him. Hye Ri also has run ins with Seo In Woo (Park Si Hoo), the principal attorney of Haneul Law Offices, but their interactions may have more meaning than either realizes. Will Hye Ri be able to move beyond her superficiality to discover the true meaning of her profession? “Prosecutor Princess,” also known as “Prosecutor Mata Hari,” is a 2010 South Korean drama series directed by Jin Hyuk.
