Who will have to pay the price for the end of a young athlete’s career? Yang Qing Li (Ye Ci Yu) is the national tae kwon do representative who has been dubbed the “national treasure.” When she goes to the hospital to be treated for an injury, doctors discover a brain tumor. Qing Li’s father, Yang Guan Jie (Lin Jian Huan), asks renowned surgeon Li Yuan (Yin Zhao De) to operate on his daughter. But when Qing Li is unable to walk after the operation, the media goes crazy over the end of her budding career. Reporter Liang Gong Ti (Qu Zhong Heng) gets his hands on photographs that show Li Yuan taking female intern Chen Xin Xin (Zhong Xin Yi) into a motel the night before his surgery on Qing Li. Gong Ti reports his suspicions that the surgeon partied with the female doctor late into the night and was not in the best physical condition to perform the surgery. Meanwhile, Qing Li is altogether relieved to be paralyzed and having the pressures of being a national treasure off her shoulders.
