High Kick Through the Roof

When two sisters move from a remote village to Seoul, they are in for a culture shock they never expected. Shin Se Kyung (Shin Se Kyung) and her little sister, Shin Shin Ae (Seo Shin Ae), arrive in the big city and go to work as maids in the home of Lee Soon Jae (Lee Soon Jae), who owns a small food company. His well-to-do household includes his son, Lee Ji Hoon (Daniel Choi), a doctor, and his daughter, Lee Hyun Kyung (Lee Hyun Kyung), a teacher. Hyun Kyung’s husband, Jung Bo Suk (Jung Bo Suk), works for Soon Jae’s food company as the vice president. They have a son, Jung Joon Hyuk (Yoon Shi Yoon), who is being tutored by Hwang Jung Eum (Hwang Jung Eum). Jung Eum lives in the boarding house operated by Kim Ja Ok (Kim Ja Ok), who also happens to be the vice principal at the high school where Hyun Kyung works. Can Se Kyung and Shin Ae survive their new environment in the modern city? “High Kick Through the Roof” is a 2009 South Korean drama series directed by Kim Byung Wook. It is a sequel to the popular 2006 drama “High Kick!”
