Strange things start to unfold around four friends who have been embroiled in complicated relationships. Jang Se Yeon (Han Ga In) is a widow who owns a café. Her life takes a scary turn when she receives a mysterious phone call that takes her back to a place where something bad may have happened. Kim Eun Soo (Shin Hyun Bin) is a psychiatrist who also lost her ex-boyfriend to an untimely death. Han Jung Won (Choi Hee Seo) is a high school teacher who has been trying to have a child with her husband, a famous chef. But her perfect life becomes unhinged after a one-night stand. Do Hwa Young (Goo Jae Yee) works as a secretary in a high-powered law firm. The firm takes on the wife of Hwa Young’s ex-boyfriend as a new client, and the woman wants to find evidence of her husband’s infidelity. Can the four women survive these dangerous events in their lives? “Mistress” is a 2018 South Korean drama series directed by Han Ji Seung. It is a remake of the British series “Mistresses,” which originally aired from 2008 to 2010, and an American series by the same title, which ran from 2013 to 2016.
