Lee Young Ja is a South Korean TV personality and comedienne who was born on August 15, 1968, in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea. She first made a name for herself in 1991, when she won a comedy contest organized by the TV network MBC. She went on to appear on the popular variety show “Sunday Night” (1992-1993). She has since gone on to feature on long-running shows such as “Hello Counselor” (2010-2019), as well as “Omniscient Interfering View,” which began broadcasting in 2018.

Defconn is the stage name of Yoo Dae Joon, a South Korean rapper, composer and host. Born on January 6, 1977, he released his first hip hop album “Straight From the Streetz” in 2001 and has since released many successful albums that have cemented his status as one of the best known underground rappers in South Korea. Defconn has since expanded his career as a television MC and host, including on the shows “Weekly Idol” and “2 Days & 1 Night.” In 2012, he and Hyungdon formed the hip-hop duo known as Hyungdon and Daejun.

Sam Hammington is a popular comedian, television and radio personality, and actor working in South Korea. Born on July 31, 1977, in New Zealand, Sam lived in Melbourne, Australia, when he decided to learn Korean in business school to beef up his resume. He did an exchange program at Korea University in 2001 and attended a live comedy show that changed his life forever. Sam was plucked out of the audience to take part in a skit, and his fluent Korean wowed everyone, including some scriptwriters and directors in the audience. He has since made many memorable cameo appearances on films and television dramas, including “Let’s Eat” (2014) and “Who Are You: School 2015” (2015). He also hosted the TV show “Witch Hunt” in 2013. But it’s Sam’s Korean reality show appearances that have made him a bona fide star. He was a popular cast member of “Real Men” (2013-2015) and guest on “Happy Together” (2014) and “2 Days & 1 Night” (2015). He also served as MC of “True Justice” (2014). Sam also appears in the Viki original series “Dramaworld” (2016), which was filmed in both Los Angeles and Seoul. Sam married longtime girlfriend Jung Yu Mi in 2013 in a wedding that was televised nationally in Korea.

Kim Sook is a South Korean comedian. Born July 6, 1975 she made her debut in the Korean entertainment world in 1995 when she won silver at the National College Comedy Contest. Since then she has made appearances in both film and Korean television dramas as well as numerous Korean variety shows. You can find her in shows such as “Infinite Challenge” (2005), “Running Man” (2010), “The Return of Superman” (2013), “Sisters Slam Dunk: Season 1” (2016), “SeoulMate” (2017), “Problem Child in House” (2018), and “Love Naggers 2” (2019).

Shin Hyun Joon is an award-winning veteran South Korean actor who has been dubbed the “Prince of Arab” by the media because of his nontraditional Korean appearance and long eyelashes. Born on October 28, 1968, he began his career as a model in 1989. After making his acting debut in the 1990 film “General’s Son,” he is best known for his roles in the television series “Stairway to Heaven” (2003) and in the films “Barefoot Ki Bong” (2006) and the “Married to the Mafia” franchise. He also has starred in the popular television dramas “”Bridal Mask” (2012), “Ohlala Couple” (2012) and “Moorim School” (2016). 

In addition to acting, Shin Hyun Joon hosts the shows “Entertainment Weekly” (since 2010) and “Show King” (since 2011) and serves as anchor of “KBS Entertainment 925” (since 2013). He has written Shin Hyun Joon’s Confessions, a photo-essay book about his Christian faith, as well as two children’s books. He also owns the HJ Film production company and is CEO of 3J Cosmetics. Seol Hyun, who is known as Kim Seolhyun, is a South Korean singer and actress. Born on January 3, 1995, she is best known as a member of the K-pop girl group AOA. Seolhyun was first discovered when she won the 8th SMART Model Contest. She debuted with AOA in 2012. That same year, she made her acting debut in the 2012 television drama “My Daughter Seo Young.” She made her big-screen debut as Lee Min Ho’s younger sister in the 2015 film “Gangnam Blues,” beating out 500 other people for the role. She also starred in the popular television dramas “Brave Family” (2015) and “Orange Marmalade” (2015).

He was born on April 17, 1979 and made his debut in the entertainment industry in 2001, with the release of his first album. He made his acting debut in 2002 and hosted his first television program in 2003. Since then, he has appeared in a number of dramas, variety shows, and television programs, including “Duet Song Festival” (2016), “I Came Alone” (2017), “Love Me Actually” (2017), and “Crazy Noodle Recipe” (2020).

Born on September 26, 1986, as Yoon Dong Gu, he made his acting debut in the 2009 television sitcom “High Kick Through the Roof,” winning a Best Couple award with Shin Se Kyung and Best New Actor in TV at the Baeksang Arts Awards. Yoon Shi Yoon then shot to fame with his next role in “Baker King, Kim Tak Goo” in 2010. He has since starred in films, variety shows and television dramas, including “Me Too, Flower” (2011), “High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged” (2011), “Flower Boys Next Door” (2013), “The Prime Minister Is Dating” (2013-2014), “Mirror of the Witch” (2016) and “Grand Prince” (2018).

Born on December 1, 1997, she debuted with the girl group DIA in 2015 and then competed in the reality show “Produce 101.” She finished seventh in the show, which also placed her in the new group I.O.I. She was born on July 23, 1995 in Jeonju, South Korea, and made her debut in the entertainment industry in 2014, as a member of the K-pop girl group, Mamamoo. Eric Nam is a Korean-American pop singer who rose to fame after competing in the second season of the South Korean television reality show “Birth of a Great Star 2” on MBC in 2012. Born on November 17, 1988, and raised in Atlanta, Ga., Eric Nam graduated from Boston College and was prepared to start a job as a management consultant when he made it on the singing competition through his YouTube audition. After being signed with a Korean record label after his finish on the show, Eric Nam (whose Korean name is Nam Yoon Do) moved to Korea to pursue a music career. Since 2013, Eric Nam has served as host of the music variety show “After School Club.” In 2016, he joined the cast of the popular variety show "We Got Married" with singer Solar of MAMAMOO.

Joo E, or Lee Joo Won, as she’s also known, is a South Korean singer under MLD Entertainment. She was born in Bucheon, South Korea on August 18, 1999, and made her debut in the entertainment world in 2016 as one of the winners of the survival reality program, “Finding MOMOLAND”. She is one of the group’s lead dancers, lead singers and is considered, by many, to be the “face of the group”; a title she earned after clips of her dancing to the EDM version of the group’s track, “Wonderful Love”, and her appearance in a Tropicana commercial went viral.

Andy is a South Korean singer, television personality, and actor born on January 21, 1981. He was raised in Los Angeles, California, but relocated to Seoul, South Korea to attend high school. He is a member of boyband Shinhwa, and debuted with the group as its youngest member in 1998, also releasing solo material in 2003. He made his movie debut in 2002 with a role in “Emergency Act 19,” and followed up with an appearance in Season 4 of sitcom “Nonstop” in 2003. He has since appeared on a range of long-running variety shows, including “We Got Married” and “Grandma's Restaurant in Samcheong-dong” (2018). Most recently, he has starred in the drama series “The Barber of Seville” (2019).
