Born on April 4, 1980, she moved with her mother and younger brother to Australia when she was a junior in high school, while her father stayed behind in Korea to support the family. Gong Hyo Jin’s family returned to Korea in 1997 after only three years due to the IMF crisis, and Gong Hyo Jin began to work as a model before making her acting debut in the 1999 film “Momento Mori.” After getting critical acclaim for her role, she went on stardom and garnered many Best Actress awards for her roles in hit films and television dramas, including “Sang-doo! In 2014 she made her acting debut and in 2016 she won the Best Rookie Award for actress at the first ever, Asia Artist Awards. Born on April 7, 1986, he is best known for being a member of the boy band Super Junior and its Mandopop subgroup, Super Junior-M. Siwon was scouted in front of his high school at the age of 16 and asked to audition at a casting call. He secretly auditioned and only told his parents after he had passed. Although he was being trained as a solo artist, Siwon debuted as part of the 12-member Super Junior in 2005 after he had already had a few minor roles in television dramas. In addition to his music activities, Siwon continued to act in films and television dramas in both Korea and in Chinese-language productions, gaining acclaim for his acting. Siwon is so popular in China that he is one of only four South Korean artists to be featured on a Chinese postage stamp! A few of his most memorable television drama roles include “History of the Salaryman” (2012), “King of Dramas” (2012) and “She Was Pretty” (2015). His agency recommended he take his stage name because his birth name, Kim Bo Seok, could be confused with two other veteran actors. Born on August 28, 1996, she launched her career in music after coming in second place in the K-pop girl group survival reality show “Produce 101.” The top 11 finishers formed the girl group I.O.I, which disbanded in January 2017. Kim Sejeong became a member of the new girl group Gugudan in June 2016. She also served as host of the show “Talents for Sale” in 2016 and was named a permanent MC for the show “Get it Beauty” in January 2017. She made her acting debut in the 2017 television drama “School 2017,” which is the seventh installment in the popular “School” franchise.
