Born on September 30, 1987, as Moon Jun Won, Joo Won was given his stage name by his father when he entered college because the Korean words sounds like “God’s willing.” Joo Won debuted as a musical actor, joining a performance group for a children’s show in 2006. He then acted in a variety of musical theater productions, and his performance in “Spring Awakening” caught the attention of his future management agency. She then moved back to Korea in 2005, changing her name to Kim Ji Ah before adopting the stage name Lee Ji Ah. She shot to stardom after being cast in the leading role of the 2007 television series “The Legend,” which also starred Bae Yong Joon. After the group disbanded in 2002, Eugene released two solo albums and has enjoyed a successful acting career. Eugene made her acting debut in the 2002 television series “Loving You.” She has since starred in many popular films and television dramas, including the recent “A Hundred Years’ Inheritance” (2013), “Can We Love?” (2014) and “All About My Mom” (2015). In 2011, Eugene married actor Ki Tae Young, her co-star from the 2009 drama “Creating Destiny.” The couple and their daughter, Rohee, joined the cast of the popular reality series “The Return of Superman,” in December 2015.

Riding a wave of popularity in China, she starred alongside Jackie Chan in the 2005 Chinese film “The Myth” and in the epic film “The Warring States” in 2011. In October 2017, he joined the survival reality program, “The Unit”, in which he placed first and subsequently became a member of the project group, UNB. 2017 also marked the beginning of his acting career as he took on his first role in a television drama. Since then, he has appeared in various reality programs and dramas, including “Goodbye to Goodbye” (2018) and “Mr. Temporary” (2019).

She began hosting the television variety show “Beautiful Morning With Shin Eun Kyung and Kim Chang Wan” in 1997 and then made her acting debut in the 1988 television series “Door of Desire.” But it was her role in the hit 1997 film “Downfall” that elevated her to star status, and the 2002 film “My Wife Is a Gangster” is still considered her most famous role to date. Some of her recent popular roles include “Scandal: A Shocking and Wrongful Incident” (2013), “Your Neighbor’s Wife” (2013) and “The Village: Achiara’s Secret” (2015).
