Cheng Ming (Smile Wei) dreams of becoming an entertainment star despite her parents' disapproval and academic pressures. After passing a crucial examination and gaining admission to China's top performing arts academy, she meets popular pop idol You Zhi Qi (Jia Yi). A misunderstanding leads a paparazzo to take compromising photos that suggest they are a couple, potentially ruining You Zhi Qi's career.
