Hidden away in the depths of society lies a lawless place known only as "the Hole," where magic users rule without care for anyone else. The sorcerers frequently kidnap people off the street for experiments that range from benign to fully inhumane. But their reign of terror might end soon – and it all starts when gyoza shop owner Nikaido stumbles across a lizard-headed man with amnesia named Caiman in an alley. In the hopes of regaining his memories, Caiman uses a pair of knives to slaughter evil magic users, hoping that he'll eventually kill the one who cursed him. However, when head sorcerer En learns about Caiman's deeds, he sends his own sorcerers into the Hole to try and kill him. This anime was based on Q Hayashida's manga of the same name.
