Kim Soo Hyun is an internationally recognized and acclaimed Korean actor whose many talents include acting, singing and modeling. Born on February 16, 1988, Kim Soo Hyun also enjoys great popularity as an endorsement model, garnering an unprecedented number of simultaneous endorsement deals starting in 2012. Suzy, the stage name of Bae Su Ji or Bae Suzy, is a popular South Korean singer and actress. Born on October 10, 1994, she is a member of the South Korean girl group Miss A. Suzy was an online shopping model before she participated in the reality competition “Superstar K.” Although she only made it through the preliminary round, she caught the attention of a scout and soon after became a music trainee for JYP Entertainment. She trained for only a year before she debuted with Miss A in 2010. That same year, Suzy also became one of the hosts for the music variety show “MBC Show! Music Core” and went on to host many other music shows. Born on December 27, 1988, as Ok Taek Yeon, he immigrated with his family when he was 10 years old to Medford, Massachusetts. When he was 17, Taecyeon participated in an open audition for JYP Entertainment in New York City at his sister’s urging, and he was chosen as one of the final 35 and was invited to Korea to continue in the competition. He became one of the top 12 finalists to compete in the reality show “Superstar Survival” but was the first contestant to be cut. In 2008, he participated in the reality show “Hot Blood Men,” which followed 13 trainees who eventually formed the boy bands 2AM and 2PM. Taecyeon joined 2PM, which debuted in 2008. He made his acting debut in “Cinderella’s Sister” in 2010 and went on to star in many popular television dramas, including “Dream High” (2011), “Who Are You” (2013), “Wonderful Days” (2014), “Assembly” (2015), “Touching You” (2016) and “Bring It On, Ghost” (2016). Park Jin Young, also known as JYP, is an influential South Korean music executive, record producer, singer-songwriter, composer and dancer. Born on January 13, 1972, he began his career as a singer in the group Park Jin Young and the New Generation in 1992 before becoming a record producer and starting his own entertainment company, JYP Entertainment, which represents some of the biggest artists in K-pop. His many accomplishments include becoming the first Asian producer to successfully cross over to the U.S. market in 2004 when he produced music for such big American artists as Will Smith, Mase and Cassie, as well as the first Korean songwriter to enter the Billboard Hot 100 Chart with the Wonder Girls’ hit single “Nobody” in 2009. JYP made his acting debut in the 2011 music-themed television drama “Dream High,” for which he was nominated for Best New Actor at the 47th Baeksang Arts Awards. He also has served as a judge for the music competition reality show “K-Pop Star” since 2011. Proving his Midas touch, JYP made a notable guest appearance in 2016 on the variety show “Sister’s Slam Dunk,” when he produced the song “Shut Up” for the cast members’ special girl group known as the Unnies. The song immediately shot to No. 4 on the Gaon weekly digital chart.

Bae Nu Ri is a South Korean actress. Born on February 4, 1993, she began her career as a model in 2008 and then branched into acting in 2010. She is best known for her roles in “The Moon Embracing the Sun” (2012), “Inspiring Generation” (2013) and “Sweden Laundry” (2015). In early 2016, she also will appear in the first-ever Viki Original series “Dramaworld,” which will be set in both Los Angeles and Seoul.

Nichkhun is a popular singer and actor working in South Korea who is best known as a member of the popular K-pop boy group 2PM. Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul was born on June 24, 1988, in Rancho Cucamonga, California, to a Thai father and a Chinese-American mother. He has had a global upbringing, moving with his family to Thailand at the age of 5, then going to study in New Zealand at the age of 12 before moving back to the United States to attend high school in Rancho Cucamonga. After graduating high school, Nichkhun was working as a coach for a high school badminton team when he was scouted by JYP Entertainment at the Los Angeles Korean Music Festival. After passing the audition process, Nichkhun was brought to South Korean as a trainee in 2006. During the grueling training process, which was documented in the reality show “MNET’s Hot Blood,” Nichkhun had to learn to sing and dance, learn Korean and Mandarin, and physically bulk up. After two years, Nichkhun debuted as a part of the boy group 2PM in 2008. In addition to his music activities, Nichkhun’s fame has grown since 2010 after hosting the talent competition “Superstar Survival” and starring in the Korean variety show “We Got Married” with pretend wife Victoria of f(x). The versatile star also has starred in many popular films, television dramas and variety shows in Thailand, China, Japan and Korea.

Leeteuk is a South Korean singer and television personality born in Seoul on 1 July, 1983. He debuted in 2005 with K-pop group Super Junior and promoted with two of the act’s sub-units, Super Junior-T and Super Junior-H. In addition to his musical activities, Chansung has continued to act, appearing in many popular films and television dramas, including “7th Grade Civil Servant” (2013) and “Ms. Temper & Nam Jung Gi” (2016). Jia was chosen to be in one of the two Chinese members of the K-pop girl group miss A in 2007 when JYP Entertainment held auditions at Jia’s school in Beijing.
