Felt like the second main characters had more attention than the first character due to their solid story-line. The main character story isn't bad in concept, it just could've used a bit more work and there were moments in the drama where I thought that a scene was not believable in any way, so it took away from the experience. The ending also felt a bit rushed. But I did really enjoy all the 'cute' moments. I also didn't mind the main leads portrayal of the 'weak' twin-sister.

If you really like the 'strong' male lead characters in Kdramas, the climax to the love-confession and the romance portrayed in those (K)dramas, this might not be the drama for you. The drama is quite enjoyable in the first half. As you might see in the comments / other reviews, the ending isn't everyone's cup of tea. As I'm familiar with a lot of C-dramas, the ending wasn't particularly bad - it just leaves you with questions (and maybe a slight disappointment, but luckily - no anger). Instead, enjoy the development of the characters. The male lead who always cares about other people's well being instead of his, the female lead who learns how to break down her walls, the male best friend who falls in love and the second female lead that deals with her emotions in a destructive way when she gets confronted with an unpleasant situation. The side characters were actually quite enjoyable. Especially the chemistry between the lead's dad and female lead were great. So, if you don't mind not having a definite ending and you're okay with the (semi-)realistic portrayal of people's personalities, go ahead and see how you like it. Warning: the second half of the series is different than the first half. And as always, the seg/sub team did a great job (not biased)^^

A classic worth watching. If you love historical Korean dramas and you have already watched a few (or even none), then you should definitely add this to your list. This is one of those dramas with great villains, lucky hero's, lovely friendships and funny comic relief. You'll cry, you'll laugh, you'll be angry, but it's all worth it in the end. As I'm a fan of both cooking and medical dramas liked the combination of the genres.
