“Barefooted Friends” is a South Korean variety show that first aired on April 21, 2013. The show focuses on putting the show regulars through an outdoor survival-type challenge. The early episodes took place in exotic locales like Vietnam and Indonesia with challenges to live like the locals for 24 hours, but later episodes have stayed in Korea with physical challenges like diving and more domestic challenges like cooking. The reality show is hosted by Kang Ho Dong, who previously was the main MC for popular game show “X-man” until April 2007. Other show regulars include Yoon Jong Shin, Kim Hyun Joong, Yoon Si Yoon, Eunhyuk, Uee, and Eun Ji Won.
