Charlie Atwood (Napoleon Ryan) is the creator of “Barmy,” a newspaper comic about the necessity of self-reliance that has had dwindling readership. Severely injured in a car-bicycle collision, Charlie is forced to face his worst fear: the complete loss of independence. Amy Murray (Sherill Turner) has her hands full as the home health care nurse assigned to Charlie. Confined to a full-leg cast and virtually immobile, Charlie must re-evaluate his thought process and direction of the cartoon, while struggling with a growing fondness for Amy. “Barmy” is a 2012 American indie film.
