When you see your parents fighting every single day, your view of marriage may be a little skewed. Bunty Chopra (Aditya Roy Kapoor) refuses to marry girlfriend Tanya (Sudeepa Singh) because he’s afraid he’ll end up miserable like his squabbling parents, Kishen (Akshay Kumar) and Mala (Aishwarya Rai). After a particularly bad fight between his parents, Tanya takes Bunty to meet her grandfather, Professor Anthony Gonsalves (Randhir Kapoor), a scientist who is building a time machine. Later that night, Bunty decides to use the time machine to go back 30 years and try to make his parents fall in love. Bunty is surprised to meet his nerdy young father, but with the help of Mala’s friend Mona (Neha Dhupia), he helps transform Kishen into a heartthrob so that Mala would fall in love with him. But unexpected obstacles and another persistent suitor threaten Bunty’s plans and the course of the future. “Action Replayy,” formerly known as “Action Replay,” is a 2010 Indian film by director Vipul Amrutlal Shah. This is what “Back to the Future” might look like if it was made as a Bollywood musical starring the “Indian Jackie Chan” and the media-crowned “most beautiful woman in the world.”
