A TV musical competition program is created to give musical directors the chance to be on Broadway - with a catch. They must choose the main actor in a blind audition - based only on the sound of their singing voices. Arrogant director Yoo Il-Han joins the show and makes his casting - a half Korean-Filipino child that Il-Han is convinced cannot perform the role properly. However, he is not allowed to change his decision and half-heartedly begins to train the boy - convinced that he will make the play a huge flop. Young-Kwan refuses to give up, though, and gradually he wins over Il-Han's heart.
