A Werewolf Boy
EN 100% Korea

When a widowed mother and two daughters move to a home in the countryside, they meet a strange boy who changes their lives forever. After losing her husband, the mother (Jang Young Nam) and the two daughters, Soon Yi (Park Bo Young) and Soon Ja (Kim Hyang Gi), live at the mercy of Ji Tae (Yoo Yeon Seok), the son of her deceased husband’s business partner. When doctors advise Sun Yi to move out to the countryside because of a lung ailment, Ji Tae provides a home in the country for the family. But after they move in, Sun Yi makes a shocking discovery – a wild boy who acts like a beast living on the property. Sun Yi’s kind-hearted mother takes the boy in, believing he is an orphan of the Korean War, and names him Chul Soo (Song Joong Ki). As Sun Yi tries to teach Chul Soo basic manners, like how to behave like a human, wear clothes and speak, the two grow close, causing jealousy in Ji Tae, who had his eyes set on Sun Yi. But when the villagers start to turn on Chul Soo, can Sun Yi and her family protect him? “A Werewolf Boy” is a 2012 South Korean film written and directed by Jo Sung Hee. The movie became the biggest hit melodrama in Korean cinematic history.
