Yeon Wu (Han Ye Ri) has lived in her hometown for years while all her friends have moved away and old properties sold to construction companies. She runs her late father’s repair shop and is also a guitar player and vocalist for an indie band at her sister’s club. One day, while substituting for her sick mother who is a cleaning lady at a major corporation, she runs into an old elementary school friend. That friend asks her for a favor that leads to an exploration of self and surroundings. And meeting Kim Yun Hwan (Han Joo Wan). What will Yeon Wu learn from the events of this summer? A heartwarming and insightful drama about the pressures of growing up, about knowing who you are, where you are in your life, experiencing love, and about being yourself when in love. Han Ye Ri got a perfectly deserved acting award for this role, but the director made a wonderfully sensitive and nuanced job, providing the right atmosphere for this mellow story.
