Today’s menu is the perfect summer dessert: Lemon Ice Cream! The fresh, soft ice cream is great for this scorching summer heat.
300ml Heavy Cream
75ml Lemon Juice
1Tbsp Lemon Zest
Yellow Food Coloring (*optional)
1) Wash, zest, halve, and juice the lemons.
2) In a bowl, add heavy cream, milk and sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved.
3) Pour the (2) mixture, lemon juice and zest into the ice cream maker, and churn for 20~25 minutes. I used an ice cream maker; if you don’t have one, freeze and scrape with a fork every one hour. If you own an ice cream maker, make sure to freeze it completely.
4) Freeze the ice cream in a freezer at least 2~3 hours.
