Today, I show you how to enjoy samgyupsal (sliced pork belly) better! Pork belly is Korea’s favorite part of the pig. In Korea, we call it “samgyupsal,” which means "three-layer meat" because of the fat and meat layers.
Samgyupsal is best cooked on a grill pan. I have kimchi, yangpa jang (onions pickled in soy sauce), myungyi namul (Korean ramp pickle), pa buchu muchim (green onion salad with chives) and doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) as sides. Other parts of pork are just as good grilled this way. ;-D Also, try eating it in lettuce and perilla leaf wraps. So good!
