There is an honor code even for the lawless gangs on the street. Back in the day, Mr. Six (Feng Xiao Gang) was a notorious hoodlum who reigned over the streets of his neighborhood, commanding respect from the police and gangs alike because he followed the honorable Wanzhu code of conduct.
Today, Mr. Six is just an old man who has lost most of his bite. But he is forced back into action when his estranged son, Xiao Bo (Li Yi Feng), is kidnapped by Xiao Fei (Kris Wu), the son of a corrupt politician and the leader of a gang of spoiled brats, after Xiao Bo steals Xiao Fei’s girlfriend and then accidentally scratches his Ferrari. When Mr. Six tries to rescue Xiao Bo with a sum of money already agreed upon, he quickly learns that Xiao Fei and his thugs don’t play by the rules.
When Mr. Six and Xiao Fei agree to fight it out, Mr. Six rounds up all of his old cronies for a memorable, cross-generational face-off. “Mr. Six” is a 2015 Chinese film directed by Guan Hu. Feng Xiao Gang won Best Actor at the 52nd Golden Horse Awards for his role.
