It is common in an Asian country to ask each other as a greeting whether they’ve eaten or not when people meet. Why is it that people tend to talk so much about food or eating even when they are clearly not meeting for dinner or lunch? This video is different from our usual video lessons where we talk about Korean grammar points, but Hyun Woo hopes to provide some interesting information regarding what’s going on in people’s minds when they meet people around meal times in Korea.
