Esther Huang is a Taiwanese singer and actress who is known for being a member of the music group Hey Girl. Born on February 27, 1989, she made her acting debut in the 2006 television series “Angel Lover.” She has since appeared in a number of films and television dramas, including the recent “Fabulous 30” (2014), “Dear Mom” (2014) and “Just for You” (2017).

The famously blunt and deeply skeptical Aqiang (Morning Mo) may have a somewhat abrasive personality, but he also happens to be an ace detective with no peer in his precinct – thanks in no small part to his dedication, incredible powers of observation, and razor-sharp memory.

And finally, a taxi driver who committed suicide cannot find peace in the afterlife. His distraught family has been left with nowhere to turn. Wracked with guilt, he wants to return to the mortal realm to beg his daughter for her forgiveness.

Colleges students Feng (Tsao Yu Ning), Victory (Carlos Chan), and their three friends return to Feng’s former school to pay it one final visit in their summer vacation.

But this is not any old school: It is a former detention camp dating back to World War II, when Imperial Japanese used it as a gruesome torture center and a base for ghastly human experiments on hapless prisoners.

The school has been closed for a decade and is due to be demolished shortly, but there is still time for Feng and friends to unearth no shortage of secrets.

And as they begin their search, they soon come across reports of a ghostly presence, and even more spine-chilling accounts of students’ disappearance.

In a secluded village, located in the wooded rural mountains of Taiwan, live three energetic and optimistic young boys. Growing up far from the hustle and bustle of Taipei their lives may appear simple, but their distance from the big city hasn’t secluded them from the hardships of life. Growing up without parents, Wutan (Buya Watan) was raised by his grandmother and elder brother. Despite being a bit of a troublemaker, Watan does everything he can to help support his small family, but there’s only so much a kid can do.

Growing up with a loving father, Chen Hao (Watan Silan) enjoys life in his small village. Still, he can’t help but wonder what life might be like, had his parents never divorced. Longing for a mother whose sole connection comes by way of an occasional gift sent from Taipei, Chen Hao can’t understand why she chose to leave him and his father behind. Meanwhile,&nbsp;Lin Shan (Suyan Pito) wonders what life might be like if he lived with parents who could actually get along. With a father who spends much of his time drunk and a mother who has had enough, Lin Shan often finds himself wishing things were different.

In an effort to provide the village children with an escape from their troubles at home, Miss Lawa (Esther Huang) starts an afterschool program. Enamored with their pretty teacher and her incredible singing voice, Watan, Chen Hao, and Lin Shan are convinced they’ll be able to find someone in Taipei willing to recognize her talent. Setting out on a journey to do just that, they begin a journey that will change their lives forever.
