Akio Chen is a Taiwanese actor who was born on September 29, 1956, in Taipei, Taiwan. He graduated from the Drama Department at the Taipei National University of the Arts. He built a reputation as a stage actor in the 1980s, before transitioning into movies in the 1990s. He appeared in the 1994 film “A Borrowed Life” and 1996’s “Tropical Fish.” More recently, he starred in “The App from Heaven” (2017) and the film “Life of Lai” (2021).
