Emma Wu is a Taiwanese Mandopop singer and actress. Born on August 11, 1989, she also is known as Wu Ying Chieh and Gui Gui. She made her debut as one of the original nine members of the girl group Hei She Hui Mei Mei in 2006. The group name was changed to Hey Girl in 2008. Emma Wu left the group after her contract expired in 2009. She made her acting debut in the 2007 television drama “Brown Sugar Macchiato” and went on to star in many popular films and dramas, including “Painted Skin” (2011), “Love Recipe” (2011), “ShenZhen (Roommate Diaries)” (2014) and “The Four (2015).”
