Jiro Wang is a Taiwanese actor, singer and model. Born on August 24, 1981, he began his career as a model before he broke into music and acting. Jiro Wang used to be the leader singer of an underground band called Karma but is now a member of the Mandopop vocal group Fahrenheit. Jiro Wang made his acting debut in 2002, but it was his leading role in the 2005 Taiwanese drama “KO One” and its 2007 sequel “The X-Family” that turned him into a star. Some of his recent credits include “The Crossing Hero” (2015) and “Rakshasa Street” (2017). Jiro Wang graduated from Fu Shin Trade and Arts College with a degree in Advertising Design, and he has been investing in many business ventures in the arts. In 2010, he started his own fashion label, M JO. In 2014, Jiro Wang and his fellow Fahrenheit members Calvin Chen and Wu Chun became joint investors in WoMen Hair, an upscale hair salon in Taipei. He also leveraged his love of Japanese manga to invest in the exclusive-agent rights for Chibi Maruko-chan merchandise in Taiwan.

Chen Zi Tong (Puff Guo) is down on her luck. She was once a promising taekwondo athlete with hopes of competing at the Olympic Games.

But a debilitating knee injury inflicted by a scheming friend and a disloyal boyfriend forced her to turn her back on her sporting ambitions. She still dreams of returning to competition, but has been forced to take on a job as a worker at a startup delivery company.

After a strange mishap, she meets the young, successful CEO Fang Zhi Sheng (Jiro Wang) of the promising company.

She manages to land a job at his company’s head office, but Fang Zhi Sheng soon discovers that his many charms – so effective with almost every other woman he meets – appear not to work on Chen Zi Tong. She retains her aloof and tough persona, no matter what.

However, Fang Zhi Sheng has one key weakness – he suffers from hemophobia and is scared stiff at the sight of blood!

Slowly, the unconventional duo begins to form a bond. Fang Zhi Sheng helps encourage Chen Zi Tong to start rehabilitating her injury and return to training. And she, in turn, helps him confront his fears. Could love also bloom here?

In the later years of China’s Sui Dynasty (581-618), Wen Lou (Jiro Wang) takes up the imperial crown. Protocol dictates that he may keep a group of concubines at court, so his royal advisors select a number of women from high-profile families for the task.

Among their number is Bu Meng (Jin Chen), the daughter of a notable civil servant who dutifully serves the imperial family.

But not everyone wants to be an imperial concubine – least of all Bu Meng! She does her utmost to avoid having to spend any time with the Emperor, contriving to avoid him whenever possible.
