Michelle Chen is a celebrated Taiwanese singer and actress. Born on May 31, 1983, as Chen Yan Xi, she made her acting debut in the 2007 television series “Why Why Love.” But it was her role in the critically acclaimed 2011 film “You Are the Apple of My Eye” that turned her into a major star, breaking box office records in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore and bestowing her with many acting awards. Michelle Chen also sang the soundtrack for the film. She also is well known for her roles in “Channel-X” (2010), “Remember, About Us” (2011), “The Condor Heroes” (2014) and “The Legend of Qin” (2015). Michelle Chen attended the University of Southern California and speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, Taiwanese and English fluently.

As a modern girl, living in a modern world, Ru Xiao Lan (Hu Yi Xuan) wasn’t one to give much thought to fairy tales and fantasies.
