Shiro Namiki is a Japanese actor who was born on September 21, 1957, in Chiba, Japan. He began acting in TV dramas and movies in the 1990s, appearing in the series “Miyazawa Kenji Sono ai” (1996), and later going on to star in the hit movie “Godzilla 2000” (1999). He has since gone on to star in a large range of film and drama titles, including the films “Ghost Train” (2006) and “Till Death Do Us What?” (2015), as well as the drama series title “Tower of Sand” (2016).

Kota (Kuranosuke Sasaki) is a budding writer whose works are still unpublished despite over 10 years of effort.

Life changes beyond recognition when he and his junk food-loving friend of almost two decades Yoko (Hiromi Nagasaku), decide to tie the knot.

Even though they are in their late 30s, Yoko quickly becomes pregnant. But during a routine health check-up, they discover that she also has terminal cancer. She successfully gives birth to their baby son, but dies shortly after.

Suddenly a single father, things start to look bleak for Kota. But then things take a turn for the weird when Yoko’s ghost starts appearing to him, encouraging him to chronicle his life in a blog.

Unsure if he is really just imaging her, Kota nonetheless decides to pay heed to her advice – with surprising results!

“Till Death Do Us What?” is a 2015 Japanese movie that was directed by Koji Maeda.
