Shido Nakamura is a Japanese kabuki performer and actor who was born to a kabuki-performing father in Tokyo, Japan, on September 14, 1972. His movie credits include the 2002 film “Ping Pong,” as well as “Be with You (2004). In 2006, he appeared in the Clint Eastwood-directed “Letters from Iwo Jima.” More recently, he appeared in “Character” (2021) and “Last of the Wolves” (also 2021).

Kota Makabe

Takumi (Nakamura Shido) is devastated after his wife Mio (Takeuchi Yuko) dies suddenly, leaving him struggling to care for their six-year-old son. Overwhelmed by grief and health issues, Takumi finds solace in a children's book Mio gave their son about a star that vanishes and returns during the rainy season. Miraculously, Takumi and his son encounter a woman who looks exactly like Mio in the woods, but she has no memory of her past life or her family. As Takumi begins to recount their love story, he hopes to help her remember, but questions remain about whether this is truly his deceased wife or something more mysterious. The film explores the boundaries between memory, love, and loss as Takumi tries to reconnect with the woman who looks like his beloved Mio. This is a 2004 Japanese romantic drama directed by Nobuhiro Doi, based on a novel by Takuji Ichikawa.
