Onodera Akira is a Japanese actor and model who was born on July 16, 1999, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. He made his acting debut in 2016, starring in the drama series “Criminologist Himura and Mystery Writer Arisugawa and the movie “The Red Rain.” He has since followed up with appearances in movies such as “Daytime Shooting Star” in 2017, as well as the drama series titles “May December Couple” (2020) and 2021’s “Kakegurui Twin.”

Murakami Maiko (Aoi Wakana), aged 24, is the daughter of a business owner. She is straight-talking and pure of heart, but has never been in a romantic relationship. One day, her father asks him to go on a blind date with one of his work acquaintances, a man named Hanasato Harumi (Takezai Terunosuke). On paper, this match is as terrible as they come: Murakami Maiko has lived a sheltered life, and Hanasato Harumi is a 44-year-old divorcee. She agrees to go on the date to please her father, while Hanasato Harumi only concedes to the meeting because he values her father as a business partner.

But when they meet, she discovers that he is actually both attractive and has a good personality. She instinctively makes her feelings for him known. Against his better instincts, he also starts to fall for Murakami Maiko. But when – on just their third date – the issue of marriage comes up, things get very serious very suddenly.

Their fledgling romance then comes under sudden threat when one of Murakami Maiko’s platonic school friends resurfaces – and confesses that he has feelings for her too. Could the odd couple really go the full distance, despite their 20-year age gap...and tie the knot?

Because he’s hard of hearing, Kohei Sugihara (Hideya Tawada) tends to distance himself from others unconsciously. As a college student, this usually means he doesn’t spend much time with his peers. At least not until the day his classmate Taichi Sagawa (Onodera Akira) quite literally stumbles into his life.&nbsp;

After accidentally running into Kohei, Taichi notices his classmate has a rather delicious-looking bento. Intrigued by the lunch box, Taichi is happy when Kohei offers to share but is left feeling a bit confused when Kohei leaves without saying a word. Not realizing Kohei is hard of hearing, Taichi approaches his classmate with a unique proposition, one he learns the truth.&nbsp;

Offering to write up the notes from class in exchange for part of Kohei’s bento every day, Taichi gingerly steps foot into Kohei’s world. With the exchange of notes and lunches, will these two very different individuals find a friendship unlike any they could ever have imagined?
