Tomohisa Yamashita is a Japanese singer, actor, and TV personality who was born on April 9, 1985, in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. He made his acting debut in the drama “Shonentachi” (1998) and later went on to debut in the musical world as a member of the pop group NEWS in 2004. He followed up with his solo bow in 2006. He appeared in the 2011 movie adaptation of the hit boxing-themed manga series “Ashita no Joe,” as well as “Close Range Love” (2014), another manga adaptation, in addition to the drama series “Boku, Unmei no Hito desu” in 2017.
