Yuichi Nakamura is a Japanese actor. Born on October 8, 1987, he is a member of the D-BOYS, a group of young male actors. He made his acting debut in the 2005 television series “Gokusen 2.” He has since appeared in many popular films, television series, radio and theater. He has even done some voice acting work but he should not be confused with the veteran voice actor Yuichi Nakamura (born in 1980). Some of his recent credits include “Hakuoki SSL: Sweet School Life” (2015) and “Humming of Yaeko” (2016).

Yamada Koichi (Komiya Rio) is an ever-cheerful, ever-popular high schooler with plenty of friends in his class. Oumi Mitsuru (Inoue Sora) is his polar opposite: a gifted young student who has plenty of intelligence, but relatively few social skills. Despite their vastly different personalities, they begin to feel a strong pull of mutual attraction. But one rainy morning, just as their passions are beginning to rise, a truck slams into Yamada Koichi in front of Oumi Mitsuru.

Moments later, it appears to Oumi Mitsuru that the other boy simply got up and continued about his business as though nothing has happened. But that is not what the rest of the world appears to understand has happened. As the boy’s classmates slowly begin to forget about Yamada Koichi, Oumi Mitsuru’s passion for him begins to burn stronger than ever. But is this really the “same” Yamada Koichi? Or has something very unusual happened to the love of Oumi Mitsuru’s life?

This drama was based on a novel by Eda Yuuri.

It’s hard to be the trailblazer. Chizuru Yukimura (Miku Ono) is the first female student to enroll in the prestigious Hakuou Academy, which had previously been an all-boys’ elite school before it adopted co-education. 

Chizuru has a childhood friend, Heisuke Todo (Mashu Ishiwatari), to watch out for her at the school, but she still feels tremendous pressure to do well and prove herself as a woman. If she doesn’t do well on an upcoming test, she faces stiff penalties from Toshizo Hijikata (Yuichi Nakamura), the assistant principal.

“Hakuouki SSL: Sweet School Life” is a 2015 Japanese television drama directed by Kensaku Miyashita. The six-episode live-action series&nbsp;is based on a video game of the same title. It was followed by “Hakuouki SSL: Sweet School Life The Movie” in 2016.
