Tori Matsuzaka is a Japanese model and actor. He was born on October 17, 1988, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, and made his acting debut in 2009. Since then, he has appeared in a number of films and television dramas, including “Piece of Cake” (2015) and “Kiseki-Sobito of That Day” (2017).

Life for Mikito Tsurugi (Matsuzaka Tori) appears to be over before it even began. His university dreams have ended in failure, and he has no job...or career prospects. He is broke and cannot find a girlfriend. Happiness is a stranger to him. One day, his friend lends him a DVD of music videos. While he is watching, he suddenly becomes besotted with the female Hello! Project singer Aya Matsuura. He begins following “idol” groups – and in doing so, meets a number of similar-minded young men.

They decide to form a band – resurrecting a dream he once had of becoming a bassist in a pop group. The band picks up a small cult following among fellow idol group fans. And a firm bond of friendship begins to form between the young men. But this hobby cannot sustain them for long, and they eventually start to find other things to do with their time. The past comes back in flash, however, when one of Mikito Tsurugi’s bandmates is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Will the band pull together one last time to help ease the trauma of these last difficult days?

Despite being a full-time university student, Ryo Morinaka (Tori Matsuzaka) spends most of his days bored out of his mind. As the owner of an exclusive members-only escort service catering specifically to women Shizuka Mido (Sei Matobu) isn’t your normal, everyday woman. Interested in hiring Ryo, Shizuka provides him with a very intimate test before bringing him on full-time. After receiving an in-depth evaluation of his performance, Ryo takes the job. Though he feels a bit embarrassed at first, he quickly realizes that fulfilling women's desires provides him with a very real sense of purpose.

Learning to converse and connect with women on a deeper level, while being kind, considerate, and gentlemanly, Ryo finds that his life is no longer a vapid waste of time. Working in a profession surrounded by taboo, can Ryo find the fulfillment he desperately craves?

Convinced dating any man who takes an interest in her is better than living alone, Shino Umemiya (Mikako Tabe) has been in more than her fair share of relationships. Some have been good, some have been less so, but none have ever been as terrible as the one she finds herself in now. Trapped in an abusive relationship, Shino’s only chance for escape comes after discovering her boyfriend has been cheating on her. Determined to make a fresh start, Shino calls it quits, leaving her boyfriend, her job, and town.

Moving to a new area, Shino finds a part-time job at a local shop and quickly settles into her new life. As if planned by fate, Shino is surprised to find that the shop’s manager, Kyoshiro Sugahara (Go Ayano), is also her new neighbor. It doesn’t take long for Shino to start taking an interest in Kyoshiro, but the failure of her last relationship and the lasting impression it made, combined with the fact that Kyoshiro lives with his girlfriend Akari (Kaoru Mitsumune), makes Shino hesitant to pursue any sort of relationship.

Even so, Shino can’t deny the feelings that continue to draw her to Kyoshiro. As their relationship begins to grow, Shino must weigh the painful scars of the past against her deep desire to find true happiness.

Despite her young age, high school student, Tsubaki Hibino (Emi Takei) is a whiz when it comes to styling hair. Able to turn the most drab hair into something amazing, Tsubaki is never happier than when she’s working on transforming someone else’s look. But when it comes to her own hair, Tsubaki never feels confident enough to even try.&nbsp;

Suffering from woefully low self-esteem, Tsubaki doesn’t really feel like she fits in anywhere, especially at school. With her drab hair and old-fashioned clothes, she is frequently teased and tormented by her classmates; the worst of them being Kyota Tsubaki (Tori Matsuzaka), the class’s unofficial leader and notorious playboy. Delighting in tormenting Tsubaki, Kyota teases her incessantly and the rest of the class follows. But things take an unexpected turn when Kyota decides to ask Tsubaki out and she inexplicably says yes.

Polar opposites, Tsubaki and Kyota’s relationship should have been doomed from the start but what begins as a joke soon turns into something else entirely. Could it be possible this unlikely pair is exactly what the other needed?
