Masayo Umezawa is a Japanese actress who was born on July 27, 1953, in Tokyo, Japan. She made her stage debut in 1974, and – the same year – appeared in her first drama title, “Tange Sazen Inui Hen.” She has since gone on to appear regularly in drama titles, stage performances, and movies, including the more recent movie “Till Death Do Us What?” (2015), the series “Your Home is My Business” (2016), and the melodrama “Legendary Mom” (2020).

Kota (Kuranosuke Sasaki) is a budding writer whose works are still unpublished despite over 10 years of effort.

Life changes beyond recognition when he and his junk food-loving friend of almost two decades Yoko (Hiromi Nagasaku), decide to tie the knot.

Even though they are in their late 30s, Yoko quickly becomes pregnant. But during a routine health check-up, they discover that she also has terminal cancer. She successfully gives birth to their baby son, but dies shortly after.

Suddenly a single father, things start to look bleak for Kota. But then things take a turn for the weird when Yoko’s ghost starts appearing to him, encouraging him to chronicle his life in a blog.

Unsure if he is really just imaging her, Kota nonetheless decides to pay heed to her advice – with surprising results!
