Tsuchiya Tao is a Japanese actress, singer, and model who was born on February 3, 1995, in&nbsp;Tokyo, Japan. She started working as a model in the early 2000s, going on to debut as an actress in the film “Tokyo Sonata” (2008). She followed up with a role in the drama series “Ryomaden” (2010). She played the title role in the hit 2015 series “Mare” in 2015, and appeared in the movies “Tori Girl” (2017) and “My Little Monster” (2018). She released her debut pop single in 2017.

Sato Shinohara (Tsuchiya Tao) runs a budget-friendly restaurant with her mother, attracting loyal customers through her welcoming personality. When her boyfriend Kenta Miyama (Matsushita Kouhei) proposes, she happily accepts. However, Kenta's wealthy, formerly noble family strongly opposes their marriage, viewing Sato as a "commoner" unworthy of their son. A new first-year college student named Yukina Toriyama (Tao Tsuchiya) has just landed a place at a science university. But when she arrives, she is horrified to discover that most of her schoolmates are utter nerds.

The one exception to the rule is a handsome senior student named Kei (Mahiro Takasugi). Utterly bewitched by his charms, Yukina Toriyama almost unknowingly agrees when Kei asks her to joins the nerdiest club in the school: the “human-powered flight” club.

Believing that doing so will bring her closer to Kei, she decides to volunteer for the role of pilot for the club’s most hair-brained plan yet: To enter the Birdman Rally contest to fly in a human-powered craft across Lake Biwa.

But to do so, she will need to fend off competition from star cyclist Sakaba (Shotaro Mamiya) – a man intent on making the pilot’s role his own!
