Reiko Takashima is a Japanese actress who was born on July 25, 1964, in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She began acting in 1987 and her many movie credits include “Like a Rolling Stone” (1994), the hit horror film “EM Embalming” (1999), the 2010 sci-fi film Space Battleship Yamato, and the teen romance movie “Anokono Toriko” (2018). She has also appeared in dramas such as “Carnation” (2011) and “Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit” (2016).

Waka (Yurika Nakamura) is a librarian who is also something of an avid bookworm herself. She hoards books and has a huge personal collection. In fact, this book collection is so extensive that it is causing her problems: She can’t find a place to live that has enough bookshelf space to house the collection. One day, at the library, she is reunited with a man she once knew…

That man is a scientific researcher named Shinobu (Hashimoto Ryosuke). He attended the same high school as Waka and had a huge crush on her. One day, while she was reading a novel in the school library, he suddenly kissed her – causing her alarm. After that, Shinobu had to move abroad when his father was sent overseas. Since returning to Japan, Shinobu found well-paid work and has become a success. He is still utterly smitten with Waka, and offers to let her move in – with all her books. She agrees. But could this unusual arrangement ultimately lead them on the path to love?

The drama was based on a hit manga series by Hiiro Kisaragi, which debuted in 2019 and ran until 2021.

When Shizuku Tachibana (Yuko Araki), Yori Suzuki (Ryo Yoshizawa), and Subaru Tojo (Yosuke Sugino) were young children, they were firm friends with a shared dream: They all wanted to become famous.

But as they grew older, their families moved away and they lost contact with one another.

Celebrity dreams have come true for two of the three, with Shizuku Tachibana now a successful model and Subaru Tojo embarking on an acting career. Only Yori Suzuki has failed to make it big. Now a high school student, he decides he will stop at nothing in his quest to also become a star – and also reunite with Shizuku Tachibana, as he harbors a secret admiration for her.

He manages to transfer to the school she attends and also manages to land a role as a production assistant on a commercial she is shooting. By a stroke of luck, he manages to appear in the ad – developing phenomenal popularity overnight as a result.

Can he capitalize on his sudden success, and find a way to win Shizuku Tachibana’s heart – even after Subaru Tojo (who also has feelings for her) reappears on the scene?

This drama was based on a 2014 manga series of the same name.

Because he’s hard of hearing, Kohei Sugihara (Hideya Tawada) tends to distance himself from others unconsciously. As a college student, this usually means he doesn’t spend much time with his peers. At least not until the day his classmate Taichi Sagawa (Onodera Akira) quite literally stumbles into his life.&nbsp;

After accidentally running into Kohei, Taichi notices his classmate has a rather delicious-looking bento. Intrigued by the lunch box, Taichi is happy when Kohei offers to share but is left feeling a bit confused when Kohei leaves without saying a word. Not realizing Kohei is hard of hearing, Taichi approaches his classmate with a unique proposition, one he learns the truth.&nbsp;

Offering to write up the notes from class in exchange for part of Kohei’s bento every day, Taichi gingerly steps foot into Kohei’s world. With the exchange of notes and lunches, will these two very different individuals find a friendship unlike any they could ever have imagined?
