Sudo Risa is a Japanese actress who was born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, on July 24, 1976. She was a promising 200-meter athlete as a schoolgirl, but later turned her attention to acting, first making a name for herself in drama series titles like “Ten Urara” (1998). She followed up with a role in “Emergency Room 24 Hours” (1999) and the sequel “Emergency Room 24 Hours” (2001). She made a mark on the big screen with the film “A Heart of the Sea” (2003). She has since gone on to appear in scores of drama titles, including the more recent releases “Tokyo Wine Party People” (2019) and “Black Cinderella” in 2021.
