Matsuda Ryuhei is a Japanese actor who was born on May 9, 1983, in Tokyo, Japan, to a family of actors. Aged just 15, he was cast as a samurai in the 1999 hit movie “Taboo,” a role for which he won a number of domestic acting awards. He followed up with the film “Shibito no Koiwazurai” (2001), and has since gone on to star in dozens of hit movies, including “The Raid 2” (2014), “Before We Vanish” (2017), and “Beneath the Shadow” in 2020.
